Charismatics Must Confront Brian Simmons for Hersey

The author of the Passion Translation Bible has openly come out teaching there is no “Second Coming,” in Simmons own words. Which places Brian Simmons clearly in the camp of “full Preterism,” with some unique views of the Book of Revelation. As Brian Simmons has clearly said the Book of Revelation has nothing to do with the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, Simmons has now brought even greater heresy to light by teaching there is “no Second Coming.” Can any Charismatics stand by without a word of protest? Brian Simmons has stood on the ground of a heretic, will no Charismatic who has endorsed Brian Simmons in the past, now confront Brian on the grounds of heresy? Where is Dr Michael Brown who has endorsed Brian Simmons before, what would Dr Brown now say Simmons teaching on “on Second Coming” has been put on YouTube?

Here are four proofs of heresy which Brian Simmons has openly stated. 1) Simmons teaches the Bible is not a complete book. God has Simmons that a chapter of the Bible is yet to be added to the Scriptures which were for 2000 years taught to be a closed book. NO other man in Church history has ever been shown John Chapter 22 as Brian Simmons says God showed him. Only Brian Simmons knows God has not yet written all Scriptures fully, as John chapter 22 will be added to the Charismatic worldwide take over Church.

2) To my knowledge Brian Simmons is the only man who teaches the Book of Revelation has nothing to do with the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Even full Preterists teach the Book of Revelation teaches on the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, they just put the Book of Revelation fully complete in history. Full Preterism is clearly declared as heresy, and those who teach it “heretics.” Even the apostle Paul rebuked Christian men as heretics who denied the resurrection at the Second Coming as heretics. Now Simmons says the book of Revelation is not about the Second Coming, instead is just about spiritual warfare in the interior life of Christians.

3) Now that Simmons teaches the Book of Revelation is not about the Second Coming, Simmons goes on to openly teach there is no Second Coming. Instead, Christians are becoming equal in divinity to the head of the Church Jesus Christ, in this way Christ returns through the body of Christ. This heresy is known as the “Manifested Sons of God” heresy. Bill Johnson who endorses Brian Simmons also teaches the Charismatic Church is in the process of becoming a divine corporate man. Another form of Manifested Sons of God heresy. Bill Johnson has actually wrote Jesus Christ cannot return until the body of Christ becomes in equal proportions to its head, so the world will get a taste of God before Jesus Christ can return. Both Simmons and Johnson teach the Manifested Sons of God heresy that God comes first through the corporate man Jesus the Church as the Manifested Sons of God. Not to mention apostle Bill Hammond which teaches many Charismatics will become immortal and incapable of death as Manifested Sons of God.

Finally, Brian Simmons rewrote the Bible infusing his doctrinal beliefs into the Scriptures by adding or subtracting thousands of words. These rewritings changed the meanings of passages of Scriptures to say something not found in the original Bible texts. Brian Simmons could be said to have created a new version of the Bible likend unto what Joseph Smith and Mormons have done, along with the Jehovah Witness has done with the Bible. The Christian world has declared Joseph Smith a heretic false prophet, along with Charles Taze Russell the founder of Jehovah Witness. Should not the Charismatic Movement rebuke Brian Simmons with similar heretical practices and teachings?

Its not unusual for Church fathers of the past to identify heretics in their midst, and openly rebuke and mark those who would not repent of their heresies. It’s time for Charismatics to stand up and defend the authority of the Scriptures calling Brian Simmons to repentance.

2 Timothy 2:15-19

15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

17 And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;

18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.

19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
